The Lake Akan Observatory
State run Lake Akan skiing ground opens to the public during the summer period. The entrance gate opens free of charge as follows: Beginning of June through August, starts 7:00A.M to 6:00 P.M. May and October,starts 9:00a.m to 5:00p.m.

Bokke
Small mud volcano located on the Lake Akan 7~8 minutes away from the promenade on foot.Lake Alley : Takes 40 minutes to walk around
Forest Alley : Takes 60 minutes to walk around
Sightseeing Cruise
Takes 60minutes to cruise the Lake Akan. You can see the natural environment in Akan, also you can go to churui island. This place has a Marimo Observation Center. Other two choices :Speed Boat(You can choose the course) and High Speed ship(Takes 50minutes to cruise).Business period:May to November.
Marimo Exhibition Tourist Center / Tourasenpe
The center of marimo research and conservation activities located on Lake Akan's Chuuri-shima island. Within the center, different themes are presented for an enjoyable encounter with the marimo. Video is also broadcast in real time for visitors to observe actual marimo..(Must take a boat to get on this island)Closed during winter season.Akan Fishing Land
